Amazing design, great features

Phone owned for

The pixel 8pro is probably the best phone I have ever owned. I switched from a pixel 3xl. My sister, who has an iPhone 13 mini, is amazed with how many features it has for the price. After 5 months of ownership, I am very glad that I purchased this phone. I have used it to shoot many great photos, and have used the ai editing to improve the quality of them. Overall I feel the pixel 8 pro is a great deal, although the battery life feels worse than I expected.

Google Pixel 8 Pro is big, beautiful, and smart all around with a reasonable cost

Phone owned for less than a month

If you came from the Google Pixel 6 or any other phone and considering going Pro for a long time and wanting to receive seven years of software support instead of buying another $1K flagship phone, the Google Pixel 8 Pro has your back, and it is big, bold, and smart all around that defines a pro phone. What makes the Google Pixel 8 Pro stand out are the software capabilities that AI can do with your phone. Anything such as live translate, picture and video quality, screen calling utilizes the Tensor G3 and AI to do the work exceptionally well. The design of the Google Pixel 8 Pro has been improved with a better display called the Super Actua Display containing a stable 1-120hz which is neat to look at and feels good in hand too especially haptic feedback. The speaker on the 8 Pro has been improved and it is louder than the previous Pixel lineup. And last but not least, the camera quality on the 8 Pro has been vastly improved over the predecessor and it's brilliant over its other competitors. For those are wondering about the battery life, I am happy to report that the battery has been slightly improved and can last very long on how you use your phone. The only nitpicky thing that feels out of place is the thermometer sensor. The sensor is unique to measure the temperature of an object, however, on the person - not so much. As of right now, the sensor is currently ongoing to get this approved by FDA and I found it weird that it's not approved before the 8 Pro launched. Tensor G3 is an improvement over the G2 and G1, but still has its issues when balancing the performance that results the phone to be somewhat warm but not hot like the previous Pixel device lineup. Multitasking is excellent on the Pixel 8 Pro, but performance wise it hits the right notes just right. Some features like the video boost and night sight video on the 8 Pro is not included and I found that weird if this phone is treated like a video game that needs a day one patch. Nonetheless, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is an excellent device that will hold in the future in terms of AI tools, design language, and deep customization. Let's just say that the 7 years of software support of both OS and Security is just a deal breaker for those that are tired of upgrading to a different every two years and I strongly advise buying a screen protector and a sturdy phone case. Both Pixel 8 and the 8 Pro are awesome, but if you want something that is big and better, the Pixel 8 Pro is where it's at. Let's just say that Pixel 8 Pro has done something truly innovative that changed the way we use our smartphones today.
