Cricket A-100

This is a good phone, but not great. It has most functions of a normal phone (web, texting, games). It is sleek and usable. It is durable and so far there have been no glitches or problems with it. This phone is pretty basic. It doesn't come with a lot of extra's. What you see is what you get. There is no camera and it is not a slider phone. The customization is minimal, but it is easy to navigate. I would not recommend this phone to people who use their cell phones a lot. I would recommend it to children or someone who wants to keep it simple.

  • Has a key lock (for no "butt" dialing), has a quiet mode, usable, easy texting. Good first cell phone.

  • Mine beeps whenever it loses service (even in quite mode) and there is no way to turn the beep off. However, I don't know if it's only my phone that does this or if all A-100s do. If you use your phone a lot, this one is not very versatile.
