According to a post on Reddit, Verizon is expected to announce some changes to its wireless plans today, Tuesday. Remember these are rumors, and the Redditor who posted this (subscriber "KapnKlaus") said that the information is publicly available through the carrier's AI.
Verizon is rumored to be making changes on Tuesday
According to the rumors, Tuesday's announcement will include the Flex Upgrade program, which will allow you to have more control over when and how you can upgrade your phone. With this program, you are not locked into a 36 month (3 year) upgrade period and can upgrade before the 36-months are completed.
Once a certain percentage of your phone is paid off, you'll be allowed to trade in your device and upgrade early. The rumored Flex program will allow you to pay lower upgrade fees or possibly eliminate them altogether.
Verizon Dollars might be the carrier's new rewards program
We've been suggesting that Verizon improve its rewards program for customers, and according to this rumor, Verizon will introduce Verizon Dollars tomorrow. To earn Verizon Dollars, you must be on certain plans like the new Verizon Shine plan. They act like cash toward your Verizon purchases. You earn a certain amount of Verizon Dollars each month if you're a subscriber to the Verizon Shine plan.

If you use the Verizon Visa card, you'll earn 4% back on gas, groceries, dining, and Verizon purchases (not including bill payments).
