uTorrent working on bringing native Android client app
uTorrent is one of the most popular torrent clients out there, and soon the application will come native on Android. The development team behind uTorrent is working on bringing a version for Google’s mobile platform, but didn’t provide an exact time frame for the final version.

BitTorrent, the parent company behind uTorrent, said for TorrentFreak:

“Like any software company, we know a mobile experience is really important to our users. At this point, we don’t yet have an ETA”

Even though, there are no firm details, the Android application is expected to support most of the functionality of its desktop counterpart.

Additionally, the company is working on bringing a native Linux client - something that has also been sorely missed.

uTorrent is the first and only torrent client that is working on a mobile version of its service. It has over 140 million users, and with mobile its outrage could grow even more.
