REDMAGIC is one of the few brands that continues to build over-the-top powerful devices that are hyper-focused on the gaming segment. Not just phones, but tablets, too.
The REDMAGIC Astra 2 is a second generation of the “compact gaming tablet” concept that was started last year, and appropriately upgrades everything across the board.
The new REDMAGIC Astra 2 is launching with a special Early Bird Offer right now — get a chance to score a discount, a special gift, and 24-hour early access to buy it:

Built for premium gaming performance

The REDMAGIC Astra 2 naturally has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but the story doesn’t end there. It has a sidekick — the REDMAGIC RedCore R4 gaming chip. It’s a co-processor that handles upscaling to Super Resolution, frame interpolation, touch response sampling optimization, and low-latency audio and feedback.

By offloading a chunk of the work, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 can focus on churning out those pristine frames and run at peak performance for longer. Additionally, the AquaCore Cooling System 2.0 – Industry-first liquid cooling tablet technology — keeps everything in tip-top shape.
An incredibly powerful Android gaming tablet needs the proper memory to work with. The REDMAGIC Astra 2 comes with up to 512 GB storage and 16 GB of RAM.
A proper display for high-intensity gaming

The 9.06-inch 2.4K OLED screen on the front has an overkill 185 Hz refresh rate — not something we’ve seen on any other tablet or phone. But, even more impressively, the Synaptics S3930 touch chip under it ensures that the screen will poll for touches at a 2,000 Hz frequency.
This means that the device scans for touch input 2,000 times per second. Not only does it give you an unprecedented amount of frames per second, each one of them will react accurately to your taps and slides.

The 9.06-inch diagonal gives you a big enough canvas to game on, but its slim bezels (90.1% screen-to-body ratio) ensure that the tablet remains compact and easy to transport. And you can play in any environment thanks to the 1,600 nits peak brightness.
Charging - solved
Planning a long gaming session? That’s fine, the REDMAGIC Astra 2 has a 8,300 mAh cell to keep the lights on. If you still need to plug in, the tablet supports pass-through charging, so you don’t overcharge while gaming.
For added convenience, there’s a separate USB port on the long side of the tablet, so you can plug a cable in if you are playing in landscape mode and it won’t get in the way.
The primary USB 3.2 port supports 75 W charging, 10 Gbps data transfers, audio, and external display output. The secondary USB 2 port allows for 40 W charging.

The REDMAGIC Astra 2 is made for gaming and is not afraid to show it. Its metal frame wraps around a transparent rear design, which lets you see the liquid cooling structure, filled with AI server-grade fluorinated coolant. Customizable RGB lights allow you to go all-out with it.
The entire package is IP54 water- and dust-resistant, and the glass panels are Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to stave off scratches and dents.
