iPhone OS 3.0 launches today
We would just like to remind you that today is the day for all iPhone users, since Apple is expected to launch the latest version of the iPhone OS – 3.0 today. A quick glance through the list of new features explains why the update is so anticipated. It provides the much-wanted cut, copy and paste, MMS support (currently not supported by AT&T), push notifications, the newly-announced Find My Phone as well as tethering (currently unavailable on AT&T). You can check all the new features through our related stories below.

All of this sounds pretty cool, but unfortunately, users of jailbroken iPhones that choose to install the new version will end up with their devices locked. What they can do is wait until Friday, when the Dev-Team Blog is expected to release its yellowsn0w tool, which should let them unlock their OS 3.0-powered iPhones. You can find out more about the unlocking tool here.

Are you excited about the upcoming update? And what are your first impressions of the new features that come with OS 3.0? Feel free to sound off in the comments below!
