With an Apple M3 chip under its hood, the iPad Air 11 (2025) normally costs $1,249 in a 1TB storage configuration with 5G speeds, but for an undoubtedly limited time, Amazon will let you spend $300 less than that for a few different color options. This is a never-before-seen deal... kicked off a few days ago, and it's clearly not going to last much longer or return anytime soon (if ever).
In case you're wondering, yes, the 2025 and 2026 iPad Air 11 editions are pretty much as similar as they look at first glance, sharing not just a screen size, but a screen resolution, rear camera and front camera resolution, battery capacity, USB Type-C port, weight number, and super-slender profile as well.
Obviously, the latest generation is faster (and equipped with more memory for a change), but the iPad Air 11 (M3) is still undeniably one of the best tablets around, especially at such a hefty new discount. After all, the battery life is still amazing (for a 6.1mm thin slate), the display quality objectively impressive (despite the lack of 120 or even 90Hz refresh rate capabilities), and the long-term software support virtually unrivaled.
At $300 under its $1,249 list price, last year's 11-inch iPad Air with 1TB storage and 5G speeds is remarkably more affordable than Samsung's Galaxy Tab S11 in a Wi-Fi-only 512GB configuration right now, and while the latter 11-inch Android tablet holds a couple of important advantages over its rival (like a built-in stylus and 120Hz refresh rate-capable screen), Apple's (non-Pro) powerhouse still feels like the better "investment"... if you hurry.
