You can now buy the OnePlus 3T in the United States

For those who waited until the late hours to buy the new OnePlus 3T in the United States, you can now do. The phone is now available for purchase in the US and it ships immediately at the moment of this writing.

The OnePlus 3T is received to glowing reviews and easily ranks among the best value-for-money offers in the saturated smartphone market. It looks exactly like the OnePlus 3 save for the new slightly darker 'gunmetal' color, but under the hood it brings an important improvement in battery life, as well as not so crucial, but still nice bumps in performance speed and the front camera. The phone is also offered in a soft gold color option, but that one is currently not available and will likely become available in the near future.

The OnePlus 3T is priced extremely competitively, and here is how its prices compare to other notable flagships with similar hardware:

  • OnePlus 3T 64GB model - $440
  • LG V20 64GB - $670 or more
  • Google Pixel XL 32GB model - $770
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 32GB - $600 or more

  • OnePlus 3T 128GB model - $480
  • Apple iPhone 7 Plus 128GB model - $870
  • Google Pixel XL 128GB - $870

You can buy the OnePlus 3T at OnePlus' official US store

While the OnePlus 3T base model is $40 more expensive than the original OnePlus 3, it's still clearly priced very competitively given that it does not come with any major shortcomings, as its performance, camera and overall experience seems to be solid. The 3T also features Dash Charge, which only works with OnePlus' cables and a wall charger, but delivers one of the fastest charging speeds on a phone.

There is one important thing to note, though: just like its predecessor, the 3T does not support CDMA, so it will not work on Verizon Wireless or Sprint in the U.S. It works fine on AT&T and T-Mobile, with full support for their 4G LTE networks.
