With Instagram Superzoom, every pimple and flaw is magnified

On Thursday, Instagram unveiled its latest tool, Superzoom. As you might expect, Superzoom will create extremely tight closeups that can be used to make hilarious video clips using outrageous sound effects. Open the camera on the app and you will find the tab right next to Boomerang. You can use this new feature on anything, including a selfie, and when you hit record in Superzoom mode, the camera automatically zooms in with suspenseful music playing in the background.

Also available from Instagram from now through November 1st are various Halloween face filters that turn you into a Zombie, a flying bat, a Vampire and more. One filter shrouds your video in a mysterious fog. And Halloween stickers are also available to add to your photos and videos. After you create your scary image, you can add it to your Story, or share it online with a friend.

You'll find these updated features on version 20 of Instagram, available in the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store for Android users. Make sure to download and install it now before Halloween arrives.
