Windows Phone 8.1 updates for AT&T devices could be available as soon as this week
While some Windows Phone users already received an official update to Windows Phone 8.1, those owning AT&T devices still have to wait for the update to roll out. Fortunately, it looks like the wait won’t be long.

In response to a customer over at the official AT&T Forums, an AT&T community manager said that the Windows Phone 8.1 update “will be available from AT&T on certain devices as early as this week.” While the devices that will get WP 8.1 first aren’t mentioned, they’re probably some of the latest Nokia models, like the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 925.

As you may know, all Windows Phone 8 handsets should receive the WP 8.1 update eventually - even older devices like the Lumia 820, or HTC 8X. On Nokia / Microsoft handsets, the update is called Lumia Cyan, and you can take a quick look at it in the video below.

Updates aside, AT&T will soon have a brand new handset that runs Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box: the Lumia 635, which will be available starting July 25 for only $99.99 (as a GoPhone device).

Good, the message doesn't start with "Hello there".

Care to tell us why, or are you just hating, anyone can say that they are done with something, its another thing to explain so elaborate.

My WP is 1 million times better than your wife's IPhone, see how easy that is to say, doesn't make it true now does it. So again tell us why you are done with Windows Phone and how your wifes iPhone is better, maybe you cant cause you are just trolling. On another note Since iOS 7 IPhone new flat clean minimalistic UI design language is based of WP Modern aka Metro UI, I have a hard time buying the notion that the imitator is better than the original. http://www.slate.com/articles/technology/technology/2013/06/apple_ios_7_will_borrowing_ideas_from_microsoft_help_apple_destroy_the_smartphone.html

if you want apps go to ios, want to customize like crazy get a droid, want simplicity get wp. each os has its own features so saying too little too late is a bit redundant. im pretty sure whatever you want is already on driod or ios dont get with wp crying for something thats already available elsewhere and get upset about it

I love windows phone but i wouldnt necessarily call it the "best OS", and the best os is ambiguous in its own right. But yeah i cant wait for the new lockscreens =D the demos look really cool and hopefully they will add more variety as updates come along.
