Wi-Fi only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab is coming to Germany in March
Not only are German consumers being given the opportunity of getting a free custom body skin with the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy Tab, but it seems that the country will soon be seeing the Wi-Fi only version of the tablet as well.

Samsung officially announced that the Wi-Fi only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be hitting the German market in March, which of course, nixes the cellular radios found on the original model. Instead, you can rely on good old Wi-Fi connectivity to get the tablet’s various functions up and running . As it stands right now, it appears that it’ll be selling for 499 euros ($675) when it’s launched, however, Amazon is making things interesting right now because the original Galaxy Tab with 3G is selling for 496 euros ($670).

In terms of hardware, it’s essentially the same version except for the fact that it lacks any cellular radios inside its body. We’ll see if Samsung decides to drop its price lower to build up some demand for it, but then again, there are quite a few big name tablets on the horizon.
