Which of these (supposed) Galaxy S9 features are you most excited about?

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are right behind the corner and, thanks to a plethora of leaks (nothing is sacred anymore), we have a pretty good idea what Samsung has in store for us. Sure, the manufacturer could possibly have a couple of secrets up its sleeve, but the Galaxy S9 has been churned dry by the rumor mill.

So, we even have the phone's alleged retail box, giving us a clear-cut look at its upcoming features. We are quite hyped about them and if you were to ask us which one we are most excited about... we'd take a while to respond. Is it the overdue inclusion of stereo speakers? Or the variable aperture that's going to bring some cool macro shots? Or the new intelligent facial scan, which would sort of mimic Face ID?

Hmmm... how about you?

Please note that these are based on leaks and rumors. While it does look like the S9 will have these features, nothing is official or set in stone.

Which of these (rumored) Galaxy S9 features are you most excited about?

Variable aperture!
Stereo speakers, finally!
Intelligent face scan
Telephoto camera and Portrait Mode on the Galaxy S9+
The fingerprint scanner at the... right place

Finger scan underneath display and better battery life is alway welcome.

I'm just really wondering what the point of the variable aperture would be. The sensor is so small that most of the time you need to shoot wide open anyway in order to receive enough light and it wouldn't matter much for controlling the depth of field either because of the sensor size. You could make a point of getting a sharper image but I doubt it'll matter much. Only in the brightest of days it could be useful really.

I'm surprised its currently 2nd IMO its most for ads and marketing But I hope I'm wrong In terms of camera, I'm more excited for 1080p 480fps slo mo It sounds much more useful than Sony's very very short 1080p 960fps

Yes, sensor is indeed 'tiny' but my friend, we are not talking about DSLR Level apertures here which goes from f/1.8 to all the way to f/32. On The Samsung W2018, the aperture goes from f/1.5 to only f/2.4 and an f/2.4 aperture isn't that bad, even with a small sensor. In fact, The iPhone 5 had an aperture of f/2.8 (if I'm not mistaken) and it took fine shots even in relatively dark environments. So lighting isn't going to be a problem, I believe. But with that being said; I too am a tad curious about The DOF. Let's see if I can find a thorough camera review of The W2018 on YouTube. G'Day!

I like the FPS right where it is. I can use it normally, but also I can have my phone on my desk, tilt it up and reach my finger over the top to use it. Stereo speakers will be a nice addition.

Of the features listed here, I would be most interested in the variable aperture. But it isn't going to be enough to get me to switch from my Note 8.

Both of them won't beat my S8 Active on battery life. But the position of FPS is such a pain in the axx!

No 120Hz screen is a big fail. The scrolling lag of all current screens except the Razer is really noticeable.

This is the future but its only noticeable if you have tried the new razer phone. Don't get me wrong I love it but more hertz means more power hungry. I just don't know if this is a trade off I am willing to take for scrolling faster than I can read to notice the 120hz.

Everyone has a bluetooth speaker these days. Listen to music from a phone speaker is lackluster! Yes, I know is sound better but use a real speaker if you want audio or stream it to a smart device these days. I am buying a new phone expecting a great camera.... I want the 900fps that sony offers and a telescoping camera!

I'm sorry, but I'll have to go with a "none of the above" option, being that this poll does not at all apply to anyone who owns an S-series device from s6 and beyond
