Vodafone's Google Nexus One is finally getting its Gingerbread update
Even though it’s still getting its fair share of the latest version of Android, owners of Vodafone’s Google Nexus One have been waiting patiently for the software update for Gingerbread to arrive – while others have been reaping its benefits for a while now.

Well, good news for them because they’re finally seeing that highly anticipated Gingerbread update being pushed out via an over-the-air process. Of course, owners should start receiving that timely notification to bring the handset up to Android 2.3.4, but if not, they can always check for it manually under the Android settings menu. Naturally, these Vodafone Nexus One owners can now experience all of the goodies that come along with Gingerbread – like its updated interface, keyboard, SIP calling, and much more.

Again, it goes to show that there is still some love being given to the aging handset, but as we’ve learned throughout its life, you can’t keep a good handset out of the loop.
