Verizon yanks Motorola DROID Pro and Motorola Droid 2 Global from Best Buy, too cheap
Verizon has taken out of Best Buy's inventory Motorola DROID Pro and Motorola DROID 2 Global, possibly because the chain was selling them too cheap. The Motorola DROID Pro was going for $50, and the Motorola DROID 2 Global for $100, before Verizon got annoyed by that fact, and put a ban on the inventory, masked as some sort of a recall, although nobody has been aware of these phones having any major issues.

Sites like Amazon Wireless, Walmart Wireless and others always have better deals than the carriers, due to the commissions they get from them for hooking someone up on a two-year contract, and adding their own termination clauses on top of the carriers', but obviously Best Buy went too far this holiday season, and has incurred Big Red's wrath.
