At the same time, another one of our tipsters pointed us to Verizon's website where the "shipped by" date has been changed to August 22nd from August 29th.
So there is the good news for those who have pre-ordered the Motorola DROID Mini. You should have the phone fitting quite comfortably in your hand before the weekend is here.
