Two new High-end Siemens phones announces - S75 and SL75

Siemens today announced two new devices from their high-end, business oriented S series. Both S75 and SL75 feature megapixel cameras, 262k color displays and Bluetooth connectivity.

S75, the successor of S65, is a tri-band GSM phone in bar form-factor. Just like its predicessor, the S75 features 1.3 megapixel camera with integrated LED photolight and video function. The display is still 132 x 176, but the color representation has been boosted from 65k on the S65 to 262k for the S75. Other features included are Bluetooth and a media player for a range of music formats such as MP3 and ACC++. S75 will be available in two color-variants: “Piano Black” and “Zirconia”. Probably the US version will be called S76 and will support 850 Mhz instead the 900. The S75 is expected to start shipping in October.

SL75 is a slider-phone in the luxury class, is the successor of the last years SL65. The screen has been upgraded from 130 x 130 with 65k colors to 132 x 176 one with 262k colors. The built-in camera is now a 1.3 mega pixel one with 5x digital zoom. MP3 and AAC music playback has also been added.

SL75 will be available in two color-variants: “Onyx Black”and “Pure Silver”, and in "Polar White" in December. The first two will start shipping Q3.
