This Verizon LG G5 unboxing video is probably the cutest you've seen in a while
Usually, unboxing videos are pretty boring, but sometimes it happens that we come across an unboxing we actually enjoy watching. After seeing the Samsung Galaxy S7 being unboxed underwater by T-Mobile, it's now time to take a look at how Verizon unboxed the LG G5. As you may know, the G5 was launched today in South Korea, and will be hitting shelves tomorrow (April 1) in the US and other markets.

Verizon decided to add a ton of cuteness to its LG G5 unboxing video by allowing a group of adorable puppies to do the unboxing. Now, we don't know just how tech-savvy these puppies are, or if they care about Quad HD screens, high-end CPUs, and the latest version of Android, but they all seem to be enjoying the whole experience - check it out for yourself below (some LG accessories are also included in the video).

In addition to being released by Verizon, the LG G5 is also launching on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint. In fact, AT&T and T-Mobile already started shipping G5 pre-orders.

We'll soon have our LG G5 review online, but, until then, if you want to take a closer look at the smartphone, do check out our LG G5 preview.

"...features that puppies love"? Really?? I mean the dogs are cute and all but is that the best you can do LG (Verizon)?

LG is one tinkering company and this G5 is one phone that gives me mixed emotions. I passed the G4 and V10 coz of the poor SD 808 Soc. And now that tje Soc issue is sorted LG gives us this modular thingy - I am waiting for early adopters / reviews and a price drop BUT and bent towards between this G5 and the HTC 10

Better wait for HTC 10, Refinements over G4 design and hardware were a better choice instead of this G5 features I would loved it if G5 still plastic with easily removable battery and back buttons with improved display and SD 820 and improved audio just like what samsung did with S7 just refinements nothing fancy . Maybe they should have introduced only one new thing like 2 cameras on the back . Not building a device from the ground .

The only fail is the trolling comment of a retard such as yourself. We get it. You only pull your skirt up for the iPhone. It's funny how you comment on posts about devices you'll never ever use let alone be able to afford. Stick to your Boost Mobile flip phone and leave the comments to actual smartphone users.

The only thing funny here is your rage, lmfaaooooo. Jeez. Just look at what you typed lol.

There you go again Michelle... Talking about my butt. How many times have I told you that I don't like ugly anorexic chicks like you? But it seems that you've found a suitor in Unordinary. You two deserve each other! Two dumbass trolls.

So the G5 is dog-proof while the GS7 is waterproof. Understood.

Great commercial. It is obvious that Verizon did it and not LG since LG's marketing isn't very good.

This commercial is adorable. Hopefully LG will keep it classy and not resort to painfully obvious carnival-barker type tactics to move the product, witness Samsung's latest tomfoolery "Buy an S7 and get a 48 inch TV for free!" Also please don't write that "Samsung has nothing to do with those deals!!", because if you don't believe that Samsung is subsidizing these specials, well, then you are beyond reasoning with.

Good ad, but the ACTUAL phone is a mess. It's bad. Really bad. EVERYONE who's unboxed this phone has complaints - bloatware, light bleed on the LCD, scratching. And that's not even using the phone as a daily driver! Yikes.
