There might be no LG G Pro 3, the upcoming LG G4 reportedly to blame
Back in February 2013 and 2014, LG releases some of the representatives of its G's G Pro line of phablets - the LG Optimus G Pro and the LG G Pro 2, respectively (interestingly enough, both of these got unveiled on one and the same date - February 12).

Logic suggests that LG will probably release a third flagship phablet sometime in early 2015 (we dare not say February 12, 2015), but a recent rumor has it that those that have been patiently waiting for the LG G Pro 3 might get unpleasantly surprised.

It seems that the South Korea manufacturer might have axed its phablet family and shifted its focus on its 2015 flagship device, which will surely be called the LG G4. Given that the 5.5" LG G3 is almost as big as the 5.9" LG G Pro 2 and is on the fence of being called a "phablet", rumors of this kind surely have a lot of ground to set feet on. That said, the rumor mill doesn't claim that LG won't release another large-screen device in early 2015.

Meanwhile, we've also heard that the G Pro 3 might get powered by LG's own in-house chipset, the octa-core NUCLUN (previously known as "Odin"), which is reportedly flawed and has a lot of issues, thus affecting the sales of the LG G3 Screen in the most unfortunate way possible.

This makes me think that G Flex/Bend and Pro series will merge into one so they have 2 flagships instead of 3.

They could just make a SD805 G Pro 3. Maybe combine Phase Detect autofocus, Contrast Detect autofocus and laser autofocus with a larger sensor and improve the QHD panel as well the G3's display flopped.

Wait... 5.5" still isn't a phablet yet? Go home LG, you are drunk.

not anymore with phones like the S5 creeping in on that size. If they can kill the top and bottom bezels, 5.5 isnt super big. Its the rest of the phone that makes it feel huge, not the screen itself. Holy crap, I think im getting used to my Note's size. lol

It's so funny to think that when I got my BB Storm 2 (3.2"), I thought the screen was huge... Now I"m rocking a Z2... and that screen is normal to me.

I know Z2 is larger than G3. However, the screen size almost should be the deciding factor for phone or phablet. So G3 is the smallest phablet out there XD that's just my opinion. Remember Note 1 has 5.3" screen.

The LG G4 should be 5.7". LG G Pro should be 6.3" or maybe LG G4.Lite with 5.2"
