Telegram X gains Android Pie support and new languages in the latest update
Telegram developers refer to Telegram X as the better version of their original app, so who are we to contradict their statement. Joke aside, Telegram X is supposed to be a faster, slicker and easier to use version of the company's original messenger.
Announced back in February, the Telegram X project received many updates that made it better and better. The October update for Telegram X brings a couple of important improvements and new features such as support for Android Pie and more languages.
Android Pie support means lots of new features that you can only find on Google's newest mobile platform, including media input support (send photos, GIFs or stickers directly from the keyboard), more message text size available, ability to use HTTP proxies, optimized memory usage when using many accounts, and a lot more.
Also, Telegram X now features support for ten more languages: English, French, German, Italian, Malay, Malayalam, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, and Ukrainian. You won't even need to download the latest update, as Telegram X will simply suggest you to switch to your languages when it becomes available.
There are a bunch of other changes and improvements included in the October update, so make sure to check out the full changelog at the source link.
