Teaser shows Huawei Honor 7 to be unveiled June 30th sporting fingerprint sensor

A teaser released by Huawei for the Honor 7 shows a fingerprint and the date of June 30th. Putting it all together, it means that the manufacturer will be unveiling the Huawei Honor 7 on June 30th. It also means that we should expect the device to feature a fingerprint scanner. The latter has been rumored to be a feature of the handset ever since the device was certified in China by TENAA earlier this month.

The Huawei Honor 7 is rumored to come with a 5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. That works out to a 441ppi pixel density. Under the hood is the home grown 64-bit Kirin 935 chipset which includes an octa-core CPU. The standard version of the handset will come with 3GB  of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The premium version offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A 13MP camera with OIS will be found on back and a 3280mAh battery is included.

More details such as pricing and availability will have to wait for the June 30th unveiling. Don't worry, the unveiling will be here before you know it.
