Sprint's Hero gets OTA firmware upgrade
Some of those who own the Sprint Hero have been complaining of some issues with SMS that have caused the battery to drain by not allowing the phone to go to sleep. This is just one of the issues that has supposedly been cleared up thanks to a firmware upgrade sent OTA. The new firmware, 1.56.651.2, clocks in at 3748377 bytes and of course, is not the move up to Android 2.0 that everyone is waiting for. Sprint hasn't released a changelog yet, so we would like any Sprint Hero users out there to let us know what changes they have spotted in the phone from the update.
