Sprint gives the Palm Pre a price cut
After Sprint pulled the $100 credit it said it initially offered by mistake, it seems the carrier is now making it up by giving the Palm Pre a small price cut. From now on, instead of paying $199 with a two-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate, users will have to shell out $149 (again, this is after the rebate). So, if you’ve been thinking of purchasing the Pre, now may be a good time to do it. Or… if this is still more than what you’d like to pay for a phone, you can wait for the freshly-announced Palm Pixi, which won’t pack that many features, but will still deliver that webOS goodness that everyone seems so fond of.
