Samsung's U820 is a Reality for Verizon
Earlier this year we informed you that the Samsung U820 passed through the FCC, and that it would eventually be out for Verizon. At that time most people thought the U820 would simply be an update to the Renown U810, but that was not the case since global GSM was not found in the FCC documents. Now we know that the U820 will be called the "Reality" and will be a kid-brother to the Rouge U960. The Samsung Reality U820 will be a slider with a full QWERTY keyboard tucked away under the 3" 240x400 pixel TFT touchscreen display (we're guessing resistive here). It will have social networking widgets for Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and YouTube on the homescreen, as well as an HTML browser (data plan required) and  3.2MP camera with flash. Additional features include a 3.5mm headset jack, microSDHC memory card slot, Bluetooth, 1000 entry phonebook, Bing search, and Verizon's VCast services. There's no date or pricing set yet, or pictures of the device in the Verizon system, through we are hearing it should be out later this month or by the first of April.

Thanks to a friend for the info!
