Samsung Gear S3 shows up at Best Buy for $349.99, but you can't have one yet

Samsung's new smartwatch, the Gear S3 has already made its debut in Europe, but customers in the United States will have wait a while longer. The South Korean company confirmed the Gear S3 smartwatch will arrive in the U.S. sometime this month.

It looks like Best Buy is the first retailer in the country that confirmed the Gear S3 will soon be available for purchase. The smartwatch is now listed on Best Buy webstore, but customers can't order one yet.

However, since it shows as “coming soon,” so we suspect it won't be long until Best Buy starts taking pre-orders for the Gear S3. If you're wondering how much it will cost, you'll be pleased to know that Best Buy will sell the smartwatch for $349.99.

Two versions of the smartwatch will soon be available for the same price: the Gear S3 Frontier and Gear S3 Classic. Both come with 1.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen displays with 360 x 360 pixels resolution.

It's also worth mentioning that the Gear S3 will only be compatible with selected smartphones. Both included wireless charging docks inside their sales packages. On top of that, the Gear S3 smartwatches feature water-resistant design, Bluetooth 4.2 and connectivity NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.

Would've been so cool to have this with a Note 7.

I do miss my note 7

I don't miss the poor QC or poor decisions Samsung made with the Note 7. I don't miss TouchWiz either.

It was by far the best. This S7 Edge doesn't come close.

I still have mines Verizon and at&t canceled everyone note 7 agreements. So if we returned them or not we all got the phones free with upgrades available. So everyone can upgrade without having to return their phones

Yep. That's why I kept mine. But it will be cool with the Note 5 or S7 Edge too. It's just a Gear S2 with a new body anyways. I want one, but may not buy it. Me and the wife both have the Gear S2 sport in the light grey. But I just got here the Rose Gold on eBay. Its a bit smaller and more feminine for her.. I wanted this device at first, will wait and see what new features it has first.

I gave up my Note, cause besides the risk of fire, it is no longer made, no longer supported, has a 100% ruined reputation, is banned from planes ships trains, and courts, and has zero resale value. It's an amazing phone, but one that needs to be turned in ASAP.

You know, this is probably going to be my first smart watch. Either this or TAG's connected watch.

It looks like they forgot to mention that this watch should also be arriving with MST, which works with Samsung Pay and lets you pay at just about any place that will take a credit card. :) I have honestly yet to come across any kiosk that hasn't taken Samsung pay yet and most people freak out in amazement when they see it actually works. lol
