Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is certified in China

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and the Galaxy C7 Pro are both rumored to be unveiled on January 21st. One item that Samsung can cross off of the things to-do list is to get the handsets certified in China by regulatory agency TENAA. Pictures from the Galaxy C7's trip to TENAA were revealed earlier this month, and today it was revealed that the Galaxy C5 Pro was also certified by the agency.

The latest rumored specs for the SM-C5010, including specs that were listed by TENAA, include a 5.2-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Snapdragon 626 chipset is under the hood, containing an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of native storage.

Both the back and front-facing cameras weigh in at 16MP. A 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed. The phone measures a svelte 6.95mm thin. Instead of those unsightly antenna lines, Samsung placed antenna slots on the top and bottom of the back cover. These slots allow the antenna to work while actually adding to the look of the phone.
