SPB Shell 3D arrives on Symbian^3
SPB Shell 3D - the 3D interface which took off on Android - has now arrived on Symbian^3, the platform running on Nokia devices like the Nokia N8. The SPB-made skin basically replaces the existing UI, which many find to be cumbersome, with a gorgeous interface with plenty of animations.

The beauty of SPB Shell 3D however comes at a hefty price of $14.99, but while that might seem like a lot, some companies have definitely found it to be worthit as even the recently unveled Huawei Vision is coming with the interface pre-loaded on the handset.

In just three weeks after debuting on Android, the the skin has cashed in an impressive $750,000. Symbian^3 is widely considered to have a dated UI, a thing that Nokia has been hard at work with the Anna and Belle updates, but even after Belle you can’t find a fraction of the graphical punch of SPB’s Shell in Symbian.

Currently, it reportedly only runs on the Nokia X7, E7, C7, C6-01 and N8. SPB Shell 3D wasn’t available at the Ovi Store as we’re writing this, but you can purchase it directly via the SPB Software website. Check out the video below for a quick demonstration of the interface.
