Purported Galaxy S5 mini specs appear on GFXBench: 4.8" HD display, Snapdragon 400, and an 8 MP
A Samsung SM-G800H is making the rounds over at the GFX graphics benchmarks database, with a full set of specs listed for a good measure. The SM-G800 coding is widely believed to signify an upcoming Galaxy S5 mini, whose press shots leaked yesterday, taken straight from a Samsung website.

So far we've been hearing that the Galaxy S5 mini will flaunt a 4.5" display, as was confirmed by an SM-G800F handset listing in the Zauba import database, too. Last year's S4 mini has a 4.3" screen, so a bump is warranted, though a 4.5" panel might still be considered small for some, despite the "mini" moniker. The SM-G800H is actually shown to have a 4.8" panel in the GFX database, however, turning the current S5 mini speculation on its head in the most important aspect.

The rest of the specs jibe with what has been leaked so far - a 720x1280 pixels display resolution, a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 16 GB of internal memory, an 8 MP rear camera, capable of 1080p video recording, and a 2 MP front-facing shooter. The Android version is listed as the latest Android 4.2.2 KitKat. All in all, this "mini" is shaping to be a decent midranger, and with the Galaxy S5 logo slapped on it, Samsung might have a veritable contender on its hands, depending on the launch price. What do you think?
