Pre-production case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 gives us an idea of just how big this phone is

A video showing a pre-production case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 helps reveal just how huge this phone is. The case not only easily accommodated a Samsung Galaxy S9+  with plenty of room left over. The Galaxy S9+ measures 5.81 x 2.70 x 0.33 inches (147.7 x 68.7 x 8.5 mm) and is not a small phone itself, so you can imagine what the size of the Galaxy Note 9 is going to be.

If you're keeping tabs, last year's Galaxy Note 8 weighed in at 6.40 x 2.94 x 0.34 inches (162.5 x 74.8 x 8.6 mm) and early speculation called for the Galaxy Note 9 to measure 6.32 x 2.94 x 0.34 inches (160.5 x 74.8 x 8.6 mm). These numbers would suggest a slightly shorter phone with the same width and depth as the Galaxy Note 8. However, with the Galaxy Note 9 expected to carry a massive 4000mAh cell compared to the 3300mAh battery in the 2017 edition, common sense would tell you that the Note 9 should be a bit thicker.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be unwrapped on August 9th and we should have more details on the size of the device after it becomes official. No matter when the exact measurements are, you know that the phone will be a handful.

About 2mm worth of plenty. I'm wrong too, might be 3-4mm worth.

S9+ by other sites say it's 158.1 x 73.8 x 8.5 mm. PA has size of the slightly smaller S9 listed being as size of 9+ in beginning of post.

This article looks rushed as all get out, actually. Not only are the S9+ measurements wrong like you mentioned, but they list the Note9 dimensions as 160.5 x 74.8 x 8.6. Just the other day, an article was posted on this site with the Note9 CAD measurements of 162 x 76.46 x 8.8 or 9.5...

Yeah lol, I got caught in that sizing screw up myself as noted in a reply to another, thanks PA. Though I could see it being closer to the said 160 x 75... might be wrong but I could see that being possible too.

I would've thought this would've given us an idea of just how big this phone is: Guess you can't count yourselves as a reliable source, PA.

Bigger = Better Smaller = Trash I don't buy any 18:9 phone that has a screen size below 6". Ideal 18:9 phablet size should be 6.2" or 6.3".
