Pre-production case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 gives us an idea of just how big this phone is

A video showing a pre-production case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 helps reveal just how huge this phone is. The case not only easily accommodated a Samsung Galaxy S9+  with plenty of room left over. The Galaxy S9+ measures 5.81 x 2.70 x 0.33 inches (147.7 x 68.7 x 8.5 mm) and is not a small phone itself, so you can imagine what the size of the Galaxy Note 9 is going to be.

If you're keeping tabs, last year's Galaxy Note 8 weighed in at 6.40 x 2.94 x 0.34 inches (162.5 x 74.8 x 8.6 mm) and early speculation called for the Galaxy Note 9 to measure 6.32 x 2.94 x 0.34 inches (160.5 x 74.8 x 8.6 mm). These numbers would suggest a slightly shorter phone with the same width and depth as the Galaxy Note 8. However, with the Galaxy Note 9 expected to carry a massive 4000mAh cell compared to the 3300mAh battery in the 2017 edition, common sense would tell you that the Note 9 should be a bit thicker.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be unwrapped on August 9th and we should have more details on the size of the device after it becomes official. No matter when the exact measurements are, you know that the phone will be a handful.
