Popular HQ Trivia game is coming to Android this holiday


HQ, the viral live trivia quiz show for iOS, is finally making its way over to Android. HQ launched on iOS in October and has since become quite the sensation, offering players real cash rewards through humorous broadcasts hosted by Scott Rogowsky, better known as Quiz Daddy. Yes, Quiz Daddy.

Just like any ol' TV trivia show, HQ broadcasts at specific times—twice every weekday and once on weekends and holidays—and gives players the chance to win real money from cash pots of up to $8,500 by answering 12 questions. Only unlike any ol' TV trivia show, this one is broadcast to your phone. Crazy, I know!

HQ Trivia was created by some of the folks behind six-second video platform Vine and is being hailed by some as the "future of TV," although we don't know about that. It's not yet clear when HQ will launch on Google Play, but a cheeky tweet from the game's creators hints that it might be available around the holidays:
