Poll results: What should HTC improve on the most with its next flagship?
We asked you yesterday about your opinion on HTC's next flagship, and what should be improved the most with it, when compared with its predecessor(s). Well, it turns out that nearly half of the respondents take the camera as the weakest link on HTC's high-end phones, and we couldn't agree more.

From the low-res UltraPixel shooter on the first One, to the unfortunate 20 MP Toshiba sensor in last year's One M9, HTC underwhelmed in the camera department. Next up in the wishlist is design, which is apparently getting a bit long in the tooth, as well as battery life, as HTC keeps putting comparatively small juicers inside its flagship line.

HTC might be down in the doldrums when it comes to financial performance, as its last two high-end phone models didn't sell that good, but it is determined to strike back with the One M10, or whatever its next flagship gets named. Thus, the company has supposedly rolled up its sleeve with the One M10, equipping it with a refreshed design and stellar camera components to charm its future owners, so we can't wait to see what this phone will bring to the table.

What should HTC improve on the most with its next flagship?

Processing power
Storage and memory
Battery life

I missed the poll. Audio volume output from speaker is pathetic. Surprised so little people thought speaker volume needed a boost. See how well you will like new speaker with lower volume output. Try hearing your navigation or other party while driving trying while smartphone is in smartphone holder or while you are sitting at the beach or park. Camera quality is also pathetic. Battery life is also shabby. No one complains and HTC will see no reason to improve any of this features

What? Most voted camera lol. Now there's a surprise. Polls should be done to gauge opinion. What's the point of asking a question to which there's already a general consensus?

Fix the camera and it'll be the best phone ever.

Design - rectangular with less curves, like M7 Exynos Soc instead of Snapdragon 3 x optical zoom Bigger sensors, wouldn't mind a big hump

Funny, I was expecting battery life ranked at top, just like every polls where people whinning about how horrible the battery life is on every poll bla bla.

Well the M10 will be using the same camera as the nexus 6P and 5X right? So the camera shouldn't be a problem, its the design they should worry about the most.

Not so fast HTC still need to fix their software processing The M9 had a great Toshiba sensor (similar to the Lumia 950 XL) and still took terrible photos

I think saying "terrible photos" might be a little harsh. Compare to a few years ago they'd be considered fantastic. Most pics get viewed only on the devise they were taken on and usually look fine. It's only when you blow them up on a big screen do you then see the major flaws with cell phone cameras.
