Pictures of Meizu smartwatch leak; timepiece to be introduced on October 21st?
Back in February, we showed you a round screen that was allegedly being produced for an upcoming Meizu Blue Charm Watch. And while the timepiece didn't surface over the subsequent months, images released today show that a Meizu smartwatch is ready to be introduced. The smartwatch will pair with the new metal-clad Meizu Blue Charm Metal that we told you about earlier today. Both the watch and the phone are expected to be unveiled at a media event on October 21st.

We don't have too much information on the watch, except that it will not be powered by Android Wear. There is no word on which operating system it will have installed. Like most smartwatches, it will be dust proof and waterproof, and offer the usual fitness and exercise monitoring.

A number of photos of the watch are available for you to take a look at. All you need to do is click on the slideshow, below. Keep in mind that the pictures were found on Weibo, and since the device is unannounced, you just might want to take this with the proverbial grain of salt. The media event will be held next Wednesday, so go ahead and circle your calendar.

Thanks for the tip!
