Oppo releases another ColorOS Beta update for Find 7 and Find 7a, version 2.1.2i

Another couple weeks, another ColorOS update from Oppo for the current Find 7 and Find 7a flagships. This time around, the incremental upgrade concentrates on bug fixes and performance improvements, but the Oppo team added a couple new features too, one for the camera, and the other that provides more granular battery management.

For the camera interface, the burst shot feature has been nicely streamlined. Holding down the shutter soft-key captures images in super-rapid succession, then, by simply selecting the preview, you can easily pick which images you want to save while discarding the rest in a few taps.

The battery management has been tweaked too. In the ColorOS Security Center, there is a new “abnormal battery consumption” monitor which will alert you if apps running in the background are using more power than they should.

The new Lockscreen Magazine has been polished up a bit, and some other bugs have been squashed, such as functional issues with backing up photos, calling performance, and other settings.

ColorOS 2.1.2i Beta can be downloaded directly now, and should be available via OTA on Monday.
