Opera Mobile 10.1 beta for Android now available for installation from the Android Market

The flagship mobile browser amongst the Opera crew, Opera Mobile 10.1, is now ready for an Android flavored beta version to be installed from the Android Market right to your handset. The free download of Opera Mobile 10.1 beta for Android includes many of the features you would expect such as pinch-to-zoom, Opera's bookmark grid called Speed Dial, and a desktop browser sync. Managing multiple pages is a snap with Opera's tabbing interface.

The Opera Mobile 10.1 beta for Android loads pages faster than the stock Android browser while users will enjoy the buttery smooth scrolling and zooming experiences on their phones. The software can be set to be your default browser and Opera Turbo-which gives you up to 80% of data compression-allows for fast surfing even if your network is slow or congested. This can reduce your data costs by as much as 90%, according to Opera.
