Official Google MWC app available in the Android Market
If you’re lucky enough to be in Barcelona for MWC this week, or just want a peak at some of the coolness that is Google’s Android booth, you can download Google’s official Android MWC app from the Android Market. The app has event information, info on the booth itself (and the many partners that contributed to it), as well as a map to find it. There’s other data tucked away in there, but perhaps the thing most relevant to Android aficionados is the guide to this year’s pin collection. It can guide you to a complete collection, whether you happen to be picking them up at the show, or scouring eBay for the last piece to your collection.
Also, after playing with the app a bit we have to say they’ve done a bang-up job with the UI, which is clean and well thought out – surprisingly good really for an app that will have little life past this week’s show (except for pin collectors!).
Anyhow, feel free to browse through some screen grabs, or hit up the Android Market source link if you want to try it out. Also, if you are at the show don't forget you can also grab the official MWC app from GSMA.
