Nokia promoting low-light photography during Diwali holiday in India
Diwali is a five day Hindu 'Festival of Lights' which makes it a perfect time for Nokia to step in with a commercial about the ability of the cameras on the Nokia Lumia high-end models, to take great pictures under low-light conditions. The low-light photography feature has proven to be so popular that other manufacturers are making it a point to offer similar capabilities on their rear-facing cameras. In addition, Nokia is spreading the word in the commercial about its 10,000 Rupee trade-in deal which can save you as much as $160 off the price of a new Nokia Lumia handset.

Besides the trade-in offer, Nokia had already lowered the price of its Windows Phone models. Earlier this year, we told you how Nokia sales were picking up in the country thanks to demand for both high end and low end models. Around the same time, the entry-level Nokia Lumia 520 became the top selling phone in India. Since then, the Nokia Lumia 520 has become the top selling Windows Phone model in the world.
