Next LeEco U.S. flash sale will be held on November 9th
After making its U.S. debut with a flash sale yesterday, LeEco's LeMall.com website is revealing that the date of the company's next flash sale will be November 9th. The festivities start at 1pm Eastern Time (10am Pacific Time) on that date. On sale will be the LeEco Le S3 for $149 following a $100 rebate by mail. Also available will be the LeEco Le Pro3 for $299 after a $100 rebate by mail. To earn the rebate, you will need to register in LeEco's Up2U program.

The LeEco Le S3 features a Gorilla Glass 3 protected 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The device is driven by a Snapdragon 652 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. A 16MP camera adorns the back of the phone, while an 8MP selfie snapper can be found in front. A fingerprint scanner is on board, while a 3000mAh battery powers the phone. Quick Charge 3.0 rapidly brings the battery back to life. A svelte 7.5mm thin, the Le S3 weighs 153 grams and can be bought in Gray, Gold and Rose Gold (coming soon).

The LeEco Le Pro3 also comes with the same 5.5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 display carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Snapdragon 821 SoC is under the hood with a quad-core CPU, and the Adreno 530 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of native storage. A 4070mAh battery powers the handset, and Quick Charge 3.0 brings the cell back to life rapidly. A 16MP camera is on back with an 8MP front-facing snapper ready to shoot selfies and handle video chats. A Type-C USB port is included\ as is a  rear-facing fingerprint scanner The model measures 7.5mm thin and tips the scales at 177 grams. Color options are Gold and Gray (coming soon).

Both models are GSM compatible only, which means that it won't work with Verizon and Sprint in the U.S. Additionally, neither phone comes with a 3.5mm earphone jack. Instead, they come with CDLA earphones out of the box, which plus into the handset's Type-C port. Also in the box is a CDLA to 3.5mm adaptor sot hat you can use the earphones with older devices.

Does this technique of selling work good for U.S.? I guess it makes more sense for price conscious markets.
