New phones from Sony Ericsson
We've already informed you about the rumors of SE phones - code named Ellen and Zoe, and now they are officially announced. Ellen is the S600 and Zoe is the Z520a. New music W600a phone was also announced.
Sony Ericsson W600a
The W600a is the second phone from Sony Ericsson that has the Walkman logo and capabilities. As you can guess it is music oriented and features Walkman media player and FM radio. The W600 handles multiple file formats including MP3 and AAC. Using PC software from Sony CONNECT, downloaded songs and songs copied from CD's can be transferred to the W600. The W600 can store up to ten full length CDs or between 80 and 120 songs depending on bit rate.

Sony Ericsson S600
The little brother of the S700a (s710a), S600 features the same swiveling design and 1.3 mega pixel camera, but it lacks memory expasion slot. This is the first device from Sony Ericsson to feature two speakers for stereo sound plus a MegaBass function. The phone is scheduled to be available Q4 of 2005.

Sony Ericsson Z520a
The Z520a is the first quad-band phone from Sony Ericsson. Aimed at the young fashion conscious users, the Z520 features Slyle-Up exchangeble front and back covers. Several lights are placed on the edges of the phone and the user can assign different lighting patters for each caller.

Sony Ericsson K608
The new K608 is the latest 3G device from Sony Ericsson. It supports both UMTS and GSM (900/1800/1900 Mhz) networks. Sony Ericsson's latest dual front camera/phone design makes the handset vertical when it's a phone, and horizontal when it's a camera, and the fully featured 1.3 MegaPixel camera includes an active lens cover for swift activation and extra protection. The phone is scheduled to be available Q3 2005.

The successor of the J200, the entry level J210 adds MMS support and 65k STN color screen.

HBH-610, HCB-700 Bluetooth handsfree
Sony Ericsson also introduced today three new headsets. The HBH-610 is the latest bluetooth headset, which supports 2.0 Bluetooth specification with automatic volume adjustment, digital echo cancellation and noise reduction to ensure a stable connection and outstanding sound quality. The headset delivers up to 6.5 hours' talk time and up to 13 days' standby, and can be personalized with a selection of Style-Up covers. The HBH-610 will be available during Q3 2005.
Bluetooth Car Handsfree HCB-700 offers new Voice Digit Dialing adds to conventional voice dialing and calls the number automatically when the user says the digits out loud. The info display is mounted at dashboard level, so the driver can see who's calling with the minimum of eye movement, and the control unit is positioned close to hand if the address book or call list needs to be referred to. The HBH-700 will be available during Q3 2005.
