New ad shows off the Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus' stereo speakers and ability to resist water

The latest ad for the Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus shows us a few things. One, you don't have to be young to own a smartphone (only young at heart). Two, the stereo speakers on the new models allow everyone within earshot of the phone's speakers to enjoy quality audio playback. And three, if the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus happens to get splashed on by a lot of water, you don't have to worry about it damaging your phone.

Yeah, there is an uncharacteristically creepy moment when the iPhone 7 Plus owner is climbing up the ladder. In the current climate, it just doesn't seem PC. And once again, we wonder how Apple and even Samsung can promote the water resistant quality of their devices if the warranties don't cover water damage. In fact, over time this water resistant quality will slowly fade; it almost sounds like you're rolling the dice every time you expose the phone to anything more intensive than a drizzle.
