New Samsung M7600 smiles
Looking a lot like the Helio Ocean, leaked photos are hitting the internet apparently showing a new Samsung handset, the M7600. This device features 3G, HSDPA, a 2.8 inch AMOLED screen with a 3MP camera but unlike the Ocean doesn't pack sliding keypads . This touchscreen model will feature an audio amplifier from Bang & Olufsen and will play DivX videos, for great multimedia on the go. One source says that the device will came with an application that will allow an aspiring Disc Jockey to use the phone to "scratch" and record effects. M7600 will not be a smartphone but will run on Samsung's own software. While this has still not been officially announced by Samsung, sources say to expect a May release for this unit.

I think the bigger story here is samsungs embrace of the Divx format, not just the omnia, it looks like all of samsungs top-tier phones are supporting divx. Its like saying, "Yeah, we know you are gonna steal video content anyways."

why do I have a feeling that we will see a CDMA version with standard speakers coming out for sprint by this point next year?

Yeah, Im not that impressed, I think the design is nice, in a non-"looks like an iphone" kinda way, but helio phones are pretty Effing manotinus...If Samsung sammy can come out with a CDMA phone like the HTC HD with a 4" screen while maintaining the features of the Omnia, then I'd be a little more excited...but I think I speak for everyone when I say Samsung isnt putting out, and Im gonna need something more than morning wood.
