New Angry Birds Stella POP! game mixes bird slinging with a bubble shooter
While the Angry Birds addiction might be gradually wearing off, that doesn't mean that the company has stopped reinventing the franchise. Rovio's new Angry Birds Stella POP! game title might be just what the doctor ordered to revive the bird-slinging genre.
This time around you are shooting the fowls at things that pop - yep, Angry Birds Stella POP! does what it says on the tin, letting you burst a variety of colorful bubbles. Of course, the goal is still to bring down those evil pigs, but you have a different type of fun doing it, saving funky-looking creatures in the process by mixing and matching various bubble combos and streaks.
You can expect plenty of exotic surroundings, hidden levels, and gameplay puzzles like Drop the Pigs, Beat the Clock, and so on. Check it out, it's free to play, with extra in-app purchases if need be.
