Motorola Droid Turbo 2 Employee Edition gets its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

Owners of the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 Employee Edition - which is exclusive to employees of Verizon (the only carrier that's selling the new Droid) - have started receiving an official update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The news comes about one week after Motorola released a Marshmallow update for the Moto X Pure Edition (on Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular).
As you may already know, Android Marshmallow brings plenty of improvements over Android Lollipop, including Doze (which significantly increases battery stand by time), Google Now on Tap, a revamped settings menu, redesigned app permission model, and so on. Most likely, the regular Droid Turbo 2 will get its Marshmallow update pretty soon, too - perhaps before the end of the year. The Turbo 2 Employee Edition is similar to the Turbo 2 that everyone can buy, except for the fact that it's got a red/black design.
