The Motorola DROID Pro might not be the most imposing handset wearing the DROID name, but what it has inside is enough for Motorola to
update the phone with Android 2.3.3. The DROID Pro and its BlackBerry-esque QWERTY keyboard will also be adding the
new Blur skin along with Gingerbread. Unfortunately, since the update is not to Android 2.3.4, Google Talk is not supported by the handset just yet.
Just this past weekend, Verizon's former flagship phone, the Motorola DROID X, was upgraded to
Gingerbread as well. And as we
reported, besides the two already upgraded handsets, the DROID 2 Global and the just launched Motorola DROID X2 are the remaining two Motorola produced DROID phones expected to receive Gingerbread. Owners of the original Motorola DROID are out of luck, although they can drown their sorrows in a Netflix streamed movie.
