Microsoft will also live stream its MWC 2015 event - new Lumias incoming?

While HTC and Samsung are hosting their MWC 2015 press events this Sunday, on March 1, most companies that are getting ready for Mobile World Congress will only announce new products starting Monday, March 2.

Microsoft is one of the important names that have something to share at MWC this year, and, just like Samsung and HTC, the Redmond giant will live stream its event. We don't know exactly what Microsoft is planning to announce on March 2, but we are obviously expecting to see one, or more Lumia smartphones on that day. The company says it will introduce something to help us "achieve more" - so perhaps we're going to see the very first Lumias that will run Windows 10 out of the box.

According to info revealed earlier this week, Microsoft is currently testing new Lumias with different screen sizes (4 inches, 5 inches, and 5.7 inches), but it looks like there's no high-end model among them.

We'll be able to watch Microsoft's event at the source link below. What do you think Microsoft will announce on Monday?

I was holding off on purchasing a new device until Win 10 phones were out... but I am so glad I grew impatient and pulled the trigger for a Lumia 1520. Still eager for Win 10... But at least now I am not suffering beneath a faux 5.2" screen. I have got 6" of glory. ... And yes... THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID.

I wouldn't exactly brag about that. Watch out for Tim Cook, he might want to offer up his 5-1/2"!

Well the 930 is definitely a notch above the 925, so if you can just wait until there is the mythical 15220 successor. Then again don't you test a bunch of devices for work? Can't you arrange to get your hands on a 1520? Best of luck.

I do, though the 1520 wasn't sent to us for testing so all we have was just some hands on for my own accord. I just haven't had enough time with it as a personal phone. I originally held out cause I actually got to see/hold the 1525 that everyone talked about or wanted. But I haven't seen it since the end of summer when a MS rep was testing it. The higher than 1080p screen look great at 6in. There was more details but all just a maybe smile nod from the guy. I thought it would come out during or after xmas, im guessing with win10 it just might make its presence.

I welcome any and all flagship Windows Phones... especially ones with 5.5+" screens... Do not see myself down-sizing anytime in the foreseeable future.

Very nice, so it bow only apple that limits it live streaming, Apple devices only, limiting.

I think that Microsoft should be a pain in the a** and do something similar to what Apple does with their live streams. That is they should make it so that only a Windows computer, tablet or phone can view the stream, only using Internet Explorer, and have to have Silverlight installed. Like how only Apple products with Mac OS or iOS, Safari, and Quicktime can view the Apple streams.

While they are at it, for android users, make sure they have to install something bogus, with a accept button so that it relies on user error. Doing so, make it root their phone, compromise security, and keep popping up, scroogled, with a link to buy a windows phone instead. ;)

Apple does it because its a private event for Mac and iOS developer and Apple faithful user only. I watch it on my Mac.

I hope microsoft will introduce an 8 inch Intel atom CPU Windows 10 capable Tablet with the pen they use on the Surface Pro 3 . that would be a useful device and one they need to sell because their Surface pro 3 line of tablets cost 799 dollars at their starting price which is to high for some low income and middle income people to buy. microsoft would truly help lower income folks achieve more if they could buy a true blue Microsoft tablet that they can afford.
