Microsoft Store cuts the price of the AT&T branded Lumia 950 for a limited time
For a limited time only, the Microsoft Store is offering a $49.99 discount on the Microsoft Lumia 950. This is the manufacturer's Windows 10 Mobile flagship. With the price cut, the handset is priced at $549. Considering that the unlocked version of the phone is out of stock, AT&T subscribers might be catching a lucky break with this sale.

Considering that the discounted price is good for a limited time (which has not been disclosed), if you have the Lumia 950 in your crosshairs, you might want to pull the trigger on the purchase now. In addition, there is no telling how long the inventory of the phone will last for. The Lumia 950 is one of three Windows Phone handsets running Windows 10 Mobile out of the box. The other two are the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL and the Microsoft Lumia 550. Older models running Windows Phone 8.1 won't be updated until early next year.

The Lumia 950 features a 5.2-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. That works out to a 565ppi pixel density. The Snapdragon 808 chipset is under the hood, carrying a hexa-core 1.8GHz SoC and the Adreno 418 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside, along with 32GB of native storage. Those requiring additional memory can access the 200GB capacity microSD slot.

The 20MP rear-facing camera has an aperture of f/1.9, and carries OIS. The front-facing camera weighs in at 5MP. A 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Qi wireless charging capabilities are baked in to the handset. With a USB-Type C port, data transfers can be done quickly, and rapid charging is supported.

There is one last, but important thing that we need to mention. In order to get the $49.99 discount, you need to be willing to pay the full retail price of the phone sans a signed contract. If interested in the sale, click on the sourcelink.

not a single 400 buck phone can do everything the 950xl can, not without compromise.

WHO the Bleep cares.. ? START SELLING the phone on thier website so Tmo and others can get to it.. that will matter more than discounting a phone $50 on a network that wants to charge me 150% more than my current carrier. I looked at the 950 this weekend and would have changed. But the ONE line was going to be $75.. ( 4 lines is $190 ). Because they add a $40 Monthly "Line access fee", to their monthly plan rate.. my 4 LINES at Tmo are $100 a month.. and thats it. The plan price is the plan price. The difference it would cost me at AT&T I can buy the XL and have change after about 6 months.

Its not a lucky break they are giving MS a kickback to NOT sell teh phone on thier site. You can find the 950 and 950XL IN STOCK in all MS Stores outside the US. UK, Germany, France, India, you name they all have it. Just not the US store. Now if you buy it from Amazon ( at a mark up.. ) the ship from the MS warehouse.. !!

dont care about price cut.. I would just like to buy it.. MS sells it at ALL thier international online stores, no lack of inventory ANYWHERE. But they refuse to sell on thier US store so Cricket/T-mo/USCellular/etc.. can buy the unlocked phone. They keep sending me emails that run you around and in the end you end up at the "EMail me when available" page for ALL but the AT&T version of the 950. Its s**tty, and a ignorant way to do business.
