MWC 2017 schedule of the more important events: here's what's happening when

The time has come for all fans of everything mobile to fixate their eyes on Barcelona, the bedazzling Spanish city on the Western coast of the Mediterranean sea. For the 30th year in a row, Barcelona will be hosting the largest mobile trade show on the scene - Mobile World Congress.

Kicking off on February 27, this year's MWC will be treating us to a lot of exciting new devices and products. The main star of the show is definitely the LG G6, given that it's one of the more anticipated smartphones that have been the main subject of the rumor mill for a while now.

Of course, there are more devices on their way. It's hard to keep track of those, so we thought it would be nice if we presented you a clean schedule with all the events and the expected gadgets that will most probably get announced. When does Samsung ever announce flagships at CES? I go almost every year, and while their presence is huge, only smaller phones are there.

ahem... It's MWC my friend... Well, maybe, you were too busy in your fanboy dreams that you forgot which show it was... No worries, go on DREAM... And don't forget to yawn before you dream...

And in the meantime we will enjoy the show?

Well, the journalist aren't excited about its same old ugly design. Sony's hall has been almost empty each year.

huh??? Sony is not stupid as you are. Better if your samsung galaxy s8 has a built in fire extinguisher when it launch so that u can easily stop the fire when it explode.

No S8 announcement is a bit disappointing. But at least there will be G6 to be excited. Anyway, I don't see Nokia comeback is a good thing. I mean, yeah it did make a history, bringing some great phones like the N70 and N90 (I was impressed while my dad using it). But the thing is that the market is already saturated. More importantly, Nokia doesn't have the real tech like it did before. It's just a brand name because all factories and patents belong to MS. It'd better for them to be part of Samsung rather than standing alone.

Nokia didn't sell it's patents to Microsoft.

I think Samsung will come with more than just a Tab S3. This event is too big to just showoff a tablet... especially for someone the size of Samsung

That Mercury though, it's so fitting that it comes first.
