Back in late August,
we showed you pictures of the LeEco Le 2S that were taken by Chinese regulatory agency TENAA. Sporting a unique looking dual camera setup on the back of the phone and a fingerprint scanner directly underneath, a similar phone showed up today in a picture posted on Weibo. At a glance, the dual camera setup in both images appears to look the same, and both phones have a fingerprint scanner below the two cameras. Even the Apple-esque antenna lines match up.
However, we can't say that the photos match perfectly since the housing for the cameras have a different color between the two pictures, and the fingerprint scanner is more rounded in the promo shot that leaked today. So it is more likely that the promotion shot is giving us a look at the LeEco Le 3, which is expected to be unveiled next April.
Feel free to check out the slideshow below and see for yourself the minor differences between the LeEco Le 2S that was photographed by TENAA, and what could be the LeEco Le 3 expected next year. The company is now
the fastest growing smartphone manufacturer in the world, and
is headed to the U.S. with a pair of smartphones.
