Affordable LG Stylo 4 leaks in official render, stylus and all
It looks like Cricket Wireless is about to launch yet another affordable Android smartphone, the LG Stylo 4. Some of you might be familiar with the name since this is the sequel to the LG Stylo 3, which made its debut in the United States about one year ago.

The first press render of the Stylo 4 shows a good-looking smartphone that lacks a home button but has thin bezels. The main characteristic of the Stylo lineup – the stylus isn't visible in the picture, but you can be sure there's one included.

No details about the phone's specs have been leaked until now, but we expect the LG Stylo 4 to offers slightly better feature than the previous model. For your information, the Stylo 3 (shown in the picture above) has a large 5.7-inch HD (720p) display, a 3,200 mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.

On the inside, the LG Stylo 3 packs a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. There's a high chance that the sequel will get similar specs with small improvements here and there. The LG Stylo 4 could be officially introduced in the US in the next couple of weeks, so stick around for more info on this affordable Android handset.

Put 32 GB + 4 GB RAM + Snapdragon 630/660 on it and it will sell so good

And FHD+. and sell it for $300-$350.. (there's a gap in that price range)

I know the MetroPCS Stylo 3 Plus version of the Stylo 3 has a slight spec bump; it's running 32 GB, 2 GB, Snapdragon 435, 5.7" 1080p. I think it's more likely the Stylo line is going to get a Snapdragon 450. But honestly my 3 Plus with it's 435, 2 GB RAM runs pretty good for everyday use. It doesn't run PUBG in a high detail level but it runs smooth in low detail. My only complaints are that apps get closed in the background pretty aggressively so multitasking is hindered because of only 2 GB RAM. Camera is pretty lackluster, and I swear there are rare touchscreen accuracy inconsistencies (but that might be my fingers being retarded for all I know). Otherwise I'm blown away with this phone, I've only used Flagships for the last 8 years and here I am with a phone I got for $50 as my daily driver while two Flagships sit in my lunch bag. I can't wait for a Stylo 4 Plus!

Camera is not good, as well as the touchscreen accuracy. Also, S3 plus comes with a smaller battery of 3080m comparing with S3's 3200m one

Agree Those specs are crazy stupid for 2018 for a phone that is supposed to be mid range. That is $100 low range specs.

You consider this a mid range?

I wish they would make an high-end version of this. Btw, launching with Android 7.0 is ridiculous.

No worries, it will stay at 7.0 for eternity..

It all depends on the carrier, my MetroPCS Stylo 3 Plus has had 3 updates in the last 6 months. Currently it's on the February 1 2018 security patch, still on 7.0 though.

V series should have the Pen to rival Note.

They're rivaling the phone not the pen feature. No one rivals at a novelty feature, unless it's a notch. Notch are cancers.

The only inconsistency I can see in the render is the power button on the left. The Stylo line has a rear mounted power button with integrated fingerprint sensor. So this could be a render for a next gen Q6 which had similar specs, it lacked the fingerprint sensor and the stylus.

Nougat. Are you serious LG?

Should of had Oreo out the box, now it'll stay on Nougat forever.

I'm hoping the Stylo4 Plus has these improvements over the $150 MetroPCS Stylo3 Plus: - Much brighter 6" screen with 18:9 aspect ratio - Android Oreo 8.x - Snapdragon 450 @ 1.8GHz - At least 3GB ram - Bigger battery @ 3500-4000 mAh - More practical variable pen thickness in the stylus app - Non-slip textured back cover, instead of ugly slippery "brushed metal" plastic - Keep the NFC, do not remove - Keep the 32GB flash storage - Keep the microSD slot - Priced at $180-$200 on MetroPCS would be reasonable

How about not expecting a Galaxy S9 for the price of a flip phone? You want a top end phone? BUY one like everyone else. The stylo delivers excellent value.
