LG G3 to receive Android 5.0 in Korea by the end of this week?
Those in South Korea sporting the LG G3, should be happy to know that by the end of this week, the rollout to Android 5.0 will have started. Reportedly, all three of the major Korean carriers (LG U+, Korea Telecom, and SKT) will be pushing out the update at the same time. In addition, the update will be available for downloads directly from LG's own website.

Android 5.0 is considered one of the most important updates in the history of the platform. Performance of the OS should show improvement thanks to the change to Android Runtime (ART) from Dalvik. Material Design will add a new look to Android, and Project Volta should improve battery life.

Earlier this month, Polish LG G3 owners received the OTA update for Android 5.0. Once Android 5.0 is disseminated in LG's home country, we should see the latest and greatest build of the open source Android OS continue to make the trek around the planet for LG's flagship handset.

Thanks for the tip!
