Instagram update allows users to import video
Instagram has been updated to version 4.1 and the biggest new feature is the one that allows you to import any video from your phone to the site. Tools are provided to edit the video so that only the best parts are displayed, and you can also crop the clip so that the action remains at the "front and center". While the original update that brought video support to Instagram required Android users to have a device running Android 4.1 or higher, the update will now enable Instagram video use for Android phones powered by Ice Cream Sandwich.
Those with the iOS version of Instagram can now straighten out their pictures with a single tap to the screen. If you use the in-app camera and then tap on the Straighten icon, the photo becomes level automatically. For pictures taken with the camera on the phone, or for pictures from your gallery, you can use a sliding scale that will adjust how level you want the picture to be.
To grab the update, head over to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
