Info on Nexus 7 docks posted by Asus, but still no way to buy in the U.S.
Accessories are something of a hit or miss when it comes to Nexus devices. There are plenty of 3rd party options for cases, docks, and other accessories, but the selection directly from Google or the actual device manufacturer is either somewhat slim, or the accessories are relatively expensive. Asus, maker of the Nexus 7, recently listed two new docks for the Nexus 7, but hasn't said yet how to purchase one in the U.S..

Asus posted pages on its U.S. website for both a wired charging dock for the Nexus 7 and a wireless charging dock for the tablet. The wireless dock has gone on sale in some parts of Asia and Europe over the past few weeks, but there has been no official release for the U.S.. It is also unclear what the pricing will be for either dock. The wireless dock has been selling for just about $50 on Amazon Japan though, which is the same price as the official Nexus wireless charging pad in the Google Play Store.

Both docks look pretty nice, but they do also look to be fairly big. This may be to be expected since they are designed for a 7-inch tablet, but the Nexus wireless charging pad is fairly small, as are many other Qi charging pads, which would also be compatible with the tablet. What do you guys think? Do either of these docks interest you?
